August 8-18
Every summer, the Iowa State Fair draws crowds from across the state and beyond, offering a vibrant blend of entertainment, agriculture, and community spirit. Amidst the bustling fairgrounds, nestled within the Varied Industries Building, lies the IowaGO! Creation Booth — a unique opportunity to share the message of Jesus Christ and creationism with fairgoers.
What is the Creation Booth?
The Creation Booth serves as a platform for engaging discussions on the biblical perspective of creation and its implication for our understanding of life, purpose, and our destiny. Hosted by Tulip Gospel Outreach, volunteers from all over passionate about their Christian faith, this booth aims to foster meaningful conversations that challenge and inspire visitors to consider the role of the One True God in their lives.
Why Join Us?
There are many reasons to join the booth, where I will be August 8-18. Here are several.
Impactful Conversations
At the Creation Booth, you have the chance to engage with people from diverse backgrounds and beliefs about the gospel. Whether they are curious about creation, have questions about their faith, or simply want to discuss life’s big questions, your presence can make a significant difference in their lives and generations to come.
Sharing Your Faith
For those who are passionate about their Christian beliefs, the Creation Booth provides a structured, safe environment to share your faith in a respectful and thought-provoking manner. It’s an opportunity to articulate your beliefs and listen to others with empathy and understanding, focusing on their greatest need — restoration to their Creator through belief in Jesus as their blood atonement for sin.
Community and Support
Volunteering at the Creation Booth is also about being part of a community dedicated to spreading the message of Jesus Christ. You will work alongside like-minded individuals who share your commitment to the Truth and spreading the gospel. Passing out gospel tracts, putting tattoos on kids, and sharing the gospel are just a few of the many things we do. Even if you are new to Christianity or evangelism, there will always be someone there to help you right by your side.
What to Expect
- A Welcoming Environment: The Creation Booth is designed to be a welcoming atmosphere that encourages visitors of all faith backgrounds and beliefs to stop by and ask questions and engage in respectful dialogue.
- Flexible Commitment: Whether you can volunteer a few hours or several days, your contribution is valued. The flexibility allows you to participate according to your schedule and availability during the fair.
- An Amazing Learning Experience: During the fair you will learn so much with hands-on evangelism training from experienced evangelists.
