In October 2020, I got into answering questions for GotQuestions.org because I was drying up not being able to talk to people during the pandemic. I knew that I had to change the way I shared the gospel, ministered to people, and discipleship any way I could. What started as a temporary ministry opportunity, turned into an amazing way this introvert could share the gospel around the world right from his computer. This ministry impacts tens of millions of people wordwide EACH MONTH, with about ten thousand EACH MONTH making professions of faith in Christ.
Before typing this post, I had just turned in my 300th question answered for GotQuestions.org. It has been a wild ride. The questions I receive have been all over the place. Some are wanting guidance and direction in problems that are affecting them. Others have questions about faith, and sharing that faith with others. Some even experienced demonic attack, and I was able to relate my own experiences with that, and share insight into the unseeable.
With many questions I get asked, most of them could be answered easily in their local church by people willing to disciple them. Discipleship seems like a lost art today, but was something commanded by Jesus for us to go and make disciples and followers of Christ (Matthew 28:19-20). To build someone up in the faith, answer questions, and lead them on a well-established path. It not only takes someone to lead, but people also need to take the time to follow. I am thankful for the men in my life that set this example for me. This was the plan how people grow in the church, but for many people they don’t have that opportunity. Though GotQuestions.org isn’t perfect, every bit helps to bring others into the kingdom.
New Book Release!

There have been many changes with the ministry since I started volunteering for them in 2020. They opened up new pathways to create a better experience for the user. They created the online hub, GQM.one, a one-stop-shop that combines all the affiliated ministries into one easy to find place. Here you can find answers to questions, search Bible commentary, listen to the podcast, and watch compelling video.
Something else new this month, the Founder and CEO of GotQuestions.org, S. Michael Houdmann, just released a new book, called: The 100 Most Asked Questions About God and the Bible, available on Kindle, hardcover, and paperback at Amazon.com. So, if you would like a great reference book for your library that is easy to read, I highly recommend it.

Thanks for volunteering to help them. They are a great ministry.
Blessings.

Wow, I would be interested in that too. Im am having such a hard time seeing opportunities to share Jesus. I know the problem is with me. I keep asking God to open doors – but I must be blind to them.

I struggle with the same thing. If I am with my wife or someone else I will ask them to point people out if I don’t see them. But think of it as just being a vessel. Be available and pray God will use you in some special way. He will give you opportunities. 😊
