The Gospel Hasn’t Changed, But the Culture Has

Christian values and traditions are no longer the norm in Western culture. Even terms that were once common knowledge are unheard of by many, especially millennials and those of Generation Z. The once very Christianized United States of America is rapidly becoming an “Acts 17” culture. We are losing our biblical foundation and have more in common with the pagan Athenians of Acts 17 than the Jews of Acts 2.

If we truly want to reach today’s people with the good news of salvation, we must reconsider how we approach evangelism. We need to start sharing the gospel the way God does in the Bible — by starting at the beginning in the book of Genesis.
