“It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”
Hebrews 10:31
I woke up this morning to this X post from Jeff Durbin, Pastor of Apologia Church and founder of Abolishonist group—EndAbortionNow.

As I sat reading this post, my heart sunk knowing that another soul has entered an eternity in hell. Pastor Durbin’s sentiments exactly, “We should shudder over what she faced today. We can’t comprehend it.”
Cecile Richards died in her home at the age of 67 with the most aggressive brain tumor imaginable—a glioblastoma, which she was diagnosed with in 2023. She served unapologetically as President of the leading provider of Abortion, Planned Parenthood, from 2006 to 2018, fighting for women’s right to kill their unborn and femininist rights, even writing a chapter called: Combating the Religious Right in the 2003 anthology Sisterhood is Forever: A Woman’s Anthology for the New Millennium.
Where is she now?
Hell is an unimaginable horror and is a sobering reminder to abide in the Lord. Hell is eternal conscious torment that never ends and where time stops. The rich man in Luke 16:9-31 found himself in hell and was conscious. He was able to feel tremendous amount of pain, had an unquenchionable thirst, and experienced a never-ending remorse. He was not asleep in the grave, but fully aware that he was being punnished in a place of torment.
The Bible describes hell as a place of intense pain, suffering, fear, and hopelessness. A suffering like no other. It is a place that “the worm never dies and the fires are never quenched” (Mark 9:43-48). The Bible refers to the fate of the unsaved with such fearful words such as:
- “Shame and everlasting contempt” (Daniel 12:2)
- “Everlasting punnishment” (Matthew 25:46)
- “Weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 24:51)
- “Unquenchable fire” (Luke 3:17)
- “Indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish” (Romans 2:8-9)
- “Everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord” (2 Thessalonians 1:9)
- “Eternal fire…the blackness and darkness for ever” (Jude 7, 13)
Revelation 14:10, 11 tells us of the final, eternal destiny of the sinner: “He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone…the smoke of their torment ascended up for ever and ever — and they have no rest day or night.” Notice that the Word says—have no rest, not had no rest. For there is no end in hell. Every single person who has ever died without Christ is in hell and will be there longer than the earth has been around so far.
“The Lord has no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways!” (Ezekiel 33:11) We should morn that another person is in hell now as we speak. Her net worth of over $6 million could not save her. When it is your time to go…it does not wait.
One commentor on Jeff Durbin’s post wrote, “We should pray for her soul.” But it’s too late for that. Once an unbeliever dies, they are immediately thrown into judgment where whatever they did, said, or thought would be laid before them. For Cecile Richards, every commandment ever broken in her entire life, including the murder of innocent babies, will be stacked against her in God’s court.
Just two months ago to the day of her death, Richards was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Joe Biden for her commitment to the abortion industry. Hillary Clinton on X posted,
“Her legacy will be the countless lives she touched and the generations of women she inspired to follow in her footsteps.”1
Clinton was right, there is no doubt of the amount of lives and generations of families she helped extinguish through her foundation and servitude to infanticide and the generations of women she inspired to follow in her footsteps. A legacy of death. According to the CDC2 Previous Abortion Surveillance Reports, there were 9,287,196 abortions performed and recorded during Richards reign.
| YEAR | NUMBER OF ABORTIONS REPORTED |
| 2006 | 846,141 |
| 2007 | 827,609 |
| 2008 | 825,564 |
| 2009 | 784,507 |
| 2010 | 765,651 |
| 2011 | 730,322 |
| 2012 | 699,202 |
| 2013 | 664,435 |
| 2014 | 652,639 |
| 2015 | 638,169 |
| 2016 | 623,471 |
| 2017 | 609,895 |
| 2018 | 619,591 |
| TOTAL | 9,287,196 |
That is some legacy, folks. That’s over one million higher than the entire population of New York City.3
Hell is no joke. It’s not a metaphor for the grave. It is a reality that will come to those who neglect the warning and not repent and put their faith in Jesus Christ as the only means to salvation God has offered. Imagine neglecting His one and only Son as the ransom and payment for your sin. What more could God do than to offer His only Son? Nahum 1:3 says, “God will not acquit the wicked.” He cannot let sin go unpunished. He is a good judge, and one that will punish sin either by placing it on His Son 2,000 years ago, or on you. Please consider this. Eternity is a long time to be wrong, and there are no make-ups.
